I opened Artsy Layered Template 175- I removed most of the layers only wanting the frames. Then added APP Mint Blizzard Solid Paper 2 and 3 above the background layer with a lighter color blend mode. I also placed a copy of Solid Paper 2 over two of the mask layers of two frames. Next, I placed three photos over the mask layer using Layer>Create Clipping Mask. Then I added APP Winter WonderlandTransfer 6 to the lower right corner and from APP Mint Blizzard I added Artstroke 2. I also added a couple of Spackle textures. For elements, I placed a coffee mug, a word label, and a couple of snowflakes on the page.


For the word art I used Chiller font for the first part. In the second part, I used Old Typewritter in both dark green and white. I put a mask on the white one and used black to remove some of the white to make it look like snow.


Journal– For years I drove about 37 miles to work. There were winter storm days that it was a bit scary driving in or driving home in the dark. But I made the trip and only didn't manage it one time. That time there were trees and telephone wires across the road and I couldn't find a clear path to work. I spun off the road twice once on my way to work and once on my way home. Neither I nor my car was ever damaged. But every snowstorm I give thanks that I no longer have to drive to work or anywhere. I don't know if getting to work is a great thing but boy it felt like that on days like the one pictured here.
