Lemmer used to be a fishing village, but unfortunately that is no longer the case, fortunately we have many monuments, the lock plus lock booths, which is a beautiful entrance by boat, which attracts many tourists, also our steam pumping station opened in 1921 attracts many visitors to us, it is the only working steam pumping station in the world.
