Inspiration –For Challenge 3 I decided to use a picture from our trip to Niagara which is my favorite. One of the pictures from that trip is the mist of the falls and sunrise colors.
Start – File>New 12x12 300.
Paper – APP Epoch Solid Paper 4 was placed over the background layer.
Frame – Framed Mask 1.4 was placed on the page and used Edit>Fill to color the layers behind the frame to match the colors in the photo.
Photo- I attached the photo Mask layer of the frame using Edit>Create Clipping Mask.
Elements– I added the Rainbow to the right side of the photo, then the flower which I used Ctrl>U to change to color to pink, and the leaves and white ribbon were grouped at the top left of the frame. I added a word strip above the photo.
Transfer– Transfer 1 was placed in the upper right corner and used Ctrl>U to adjust the colors to match my photo. Added Sky Transfer 2.5 to the upper left corner.
Brushes– I added Artstroke 1 to the page. I think the art strokes and the curves in the word art get a sense of movement like the water movement. When the page was done.
Title – Used a simple wordart.
Journal-My Husband and I took lots of trips but our trip to Niagara Falls will always be my favorite. Tons of good memories. We took a fabulous day tour that hit on just about every attraction on the Canadian side. I do not believe we would have gotten so much in on our own. But I also loved the views. In the morning seeing the mist over the falls with the beautiful sunrise colors was just beautiful.
Added Drop Shadows where necessary.
