Just finishing up scrapping some holiday pictures. Christmastown (yes, that's what we call it) will stay set up until sometime in February. I used the NEW Urban Threadz Framed No6 frame my photos.

my process: Began with the Urban Threadz Frames and clipped my photos. Deleted some frames and clipped green artsy papers to 'background' frames. The background imagery of my photos so I clipped a white texture to frame mask and brushed the unwanted parts of the photo with a layer mask. Tedious but it showed off the village and fake snow better. Placed a background paper and added 2 evergreen elements around frames. Added more trees with a brush. Needed more greenery so duplicate an evergreen bough, applied a colour burn blending mode and placed under frames. Added the Santa element and re-coloured labels. Finished with splatters, snowflake brushes and my journaling.

Beautiful Kim! Your page is gorgeous and Christmassy!! I leave my nativity set and tree up until well in January usually.

Oh this is so lovely and heartwarming! How fun it must be to paint these little houses. They look great spread across the frames, and I like the solids in the bac frames. Perfect label words and I love the brushed in trees!

Love the Christmas town and your story of collecting and painting them. A treasured collection. The pine trees in the background compliment the photo.
