I saw this weeks prompt and thought, God shines through me. This made the song Amazing Grace My chains are gone by Chris Tomlin to spring to mind. The chains and words didn't come out as I imagined but that was mostly because I dont have a lot of chain elements. Bottom left words are all the words that have been applied to me in the past that no longer apply. The white words are the song lyrics. I used Giggles and Grands for the background paper, Glow for the burst of light, Boys Only for the black chain, Free Wheeling for the spiral chain, and Big Moments (Wings) for the wings behind the cross. Extracted photo is mine.

We sang that song at both my parent's funerals, and it's an absolutely lovely song. You did wonderful with the chains! I love it!!!

Tracy, this is a total :wow: page!! First of all, I love that song, but to see you standing in front of those chains with that fabulous smile on your face takes it to a new level of fabulous. I love how you wrote around the circular chains and that cross and the wings in the corner are so beautiful. You are SO awesome at art journaling for somebody who "didn't know if they could do it" you CAN and you are!!! I'm so thrilled that you've embraced this art form :heartpumpred::heartpumpred::heartpumpred::heartpumpred:

Thank you Cheryl. :heartpumpred: It feels so amazing to finally have found my "art form" that I can achieve. The wings, thanks to you, are so much fun. I have added them so many times and I just love the feel they give me. My original thought was more like Ebenezer Scrooge's partner Marley in chains breaking free but this was the closest I could get to that feeling. However I do like this version better. :heartpumpred:

Oh no, I love this version! It's perfect and you've certainly found your "stride" (is that the right word?) You know what I mean - you have found your AJ voice for sure. I love that beautiful smile on your face - reminds me of Chuck's contagious smile - and you know how I feel about his. I also love the wings and how you used them. I'm SO glad you loved them and are using them now. :heartpumpred: :heartpumpred: :heartpumpred:

That is the nicest thing you could ever say! I am honored to have a smile similar to Chuck. :heartpumpred:

Oh, Tracy, I love this song, and I love Chris Tomlin. I got to see/hear him in a concert here in our small town several years back and it was awesome. I also love your lovely photo and smile, and your journaling placed around and within the chains! ♥

Oh man I bet that was an amazing concert to see. This song so speaks to me and I play it all the time. This and Dead Man Walking by Jeremy Camp.

Yes, it was an amazing concert. I like Jeremy Camp too. For my birthday last year, my and son and family gave me VIP tickets to a Tim Hawkins concert. He met with us beforehand for photos and is such a nice guy. Oh my, if you ever get a chance to hear him in person, do so. I laughed so hard, my jaws and neck hurt for days. But, it was well worth it. :)
