Theme for last year's party was LOL as in the dolls, not laugh out loud..

The photo picked up bokeh from the Christmas tree in the background so I knew immediately that I wanted to use this Artsy paper from AP Brumal to complement it. Clipped the photo to a fotoblendz then faffed about with the dimensions of the mask using transform until I was happy with the result, there is another fotoblendz on top of the paper on Overlay mode 60% at the righthand side of the page which gives me more depth. Added some extra Bokeh recoloured blue and Birthday WordArt with the balloons recoloured using Hue and Saturation sliders, text have stroke and drop shadow type styles applied. Paper textures added to break up the page. Took a slice of the Artsy paper and increased in size, positioned underneath the Artsy Paper used hue and saturation to change to a pink, erased the artsy paper to reveal the pink underneath.
The decision to add my Granddaughter was a last minute one, I wasn't happy with the composition and flow of the page so added the figure because at the end of the day, it's all about her really...
