As some of you know, I have a terrible time sleeping. One thing that has helped a little (some nights) was hanging some soft white lights over my bed. I sleep with them on all night. It has helped a little. NOTE: the two lights on my headboard don't stay on all night. I needed them for some additional light when I took the picture.
I share that same scattered relationship with sleep and it's been worse lately. You've created a lovely haven, there is something soothing about those soft lights, I feel it from my Christmas lights. I love the soft dreaminess of the background, but I feel that little house harboring things that dreams are not made of

I've been really bad since I lost my husband. I'm not "afraid" of the dark, but a couple of months ago, I got the idea to hang the lights. It soothes me. Sorry you're experiencing some of this problems with sleep.
Cheryl, I love your layout with you beautiful room. I just have occasional nights where I can't sleep. I'm normally early to bed and early to rise. Not sure it's made me healthy, wealthy, and wise, though!!
