Inspiration – I have been taking autumn pictures for the last few weeks so it just seemed like the best idea for the border challenge to do a leaf border.
Start – File>New 12X12 300.
Paper – Solid Paper 1 from APP Inglenook.
Mask – Inglenook Fotoblendz 1.2 was placed on the page. The layers that were the mask layer were colored to match the photo using Edit>fill.
Photo – I added the photo to the mask layer using Layer>Create Clipping Mask.
Transfer – Put Artsy Transfer 5 in the upper left corner.
Border The red layer consists of the red Leaf from Inglenook, the Red Leaf from Cynefin, the Holly Red Leaf from Yuletide, and Leaf Paper Red from Lagom. The gold layer consists of a Card leaf from Wild Autumn, a leaf from Festal, a Silk Green Leaf from Cynefin; a leaf from AfterMidnight, and a leaf from Epiphany. I made three sets of groups in each color trying to mix up order and direction.
Title – Wood Word "Fall" and beads "leaves".
Elements – Then I made three copies of the red leaf from Inglenook and sized them down and showed them like they were falling from the tree in the photo.
Brush – Brush 1in red painted in the lower left corner.
Words - Let us take a lesson from the leaf’s wisdom, And embrace our own resilience with open arms. For it’s the key to our strength, to our growth, And to our ability to overcome life’s hard oath.
Added Drop shadows where necessary,
