my process: Began with the idea of just playing & experimenting. I was inspired by a song (Lonesome Loser by The Little River Band) and the wonderful layouts in the Anna Aspnes and Oscraps communities. Background was 2 papers blended. Used 3 different artistic filters in PSE to alter photo which was clipped to a fotoblendz. I used 2 artsy kardz, artsy transfers and transfers from the artplay palette with blending modes & masks, recoloured, deleted layers & rearranged all layers to create a canvas I liked. Added a multimedia cluster & arranged it to frame face. Scanned a playing card & extracted it & distressed it with a transfer layer. Added it to the cluster. Created teardrop from a raindrop element & placed under eye. Finished with the words "Keep on Trying" which are a subtle nod to the song lyrics & to a crazy week.
