my process: Began with the Artsy Layered template. Placed single photo into 3 frames. Added a fotoblendz with my photo and applied a sepia filter. Adjusted & blended layers of template and fotoblendz. Added splatter transfers & paper. Placed multimedia cluster & added blanket element. Moved button over the frames. Created title with 2 pieces of wordart & added white stroke to 'wintry silence'. Finished with journaling.

The masked background of bare tree limbs and the other framed photos of bare trees capture the cold of winter time.
The blanket and the shelf of books say it is time to stay inside and snuggle down and read.
The choice of rose-brown in the background with 2 spots of red give warmth that can still be found on a winter's day.
