We actually had time to see the city since our excursion was canceled. It was fun and it gave me a chance to find Icelandic wool to perhaps knit a scarf.
I am such a fan of Icelandic wool--on our first trip, before I even learned how to knit, I brought home half-a suitcase of Alafoss Lopi that I found deeply discounted at the Alafoss Outlet...now it's one of my favorite yarns for sweaters. What a wonderful trip this is!
