Moments Value Pack
I have no fixed process in my scrapping - sometimes it's a story, sometimes it's an aspect of life, sometimes a week review, sometimes, like here, it's just the highlights of a day of photos I really like presented in some freeform fashion.
Always, I start with photos, deciding which should be big and which small. The large photo captures the brilliant sun and cactus at our local Botanic Garden, which sponsored "Dogtoberfest" in the month of October, blended with Starry FotoBlendz from the Apothic Collection. I duplicated the FotoBlendz for coverage and duplicated a bunch of the stars and moved them around the page. When I moved the small photos to the other side, I liked the blocked approach, so stuck with that, using Artsy Kardz as mattes for two photos (sketches created with the MySketch app), frames for the others, then adding another framed photo on the right for balance. The banner was the first element I added, then created a cluster from ArtPlay Breathe Elements, and the Button Card because I like buttons and loved the color and cluster effect this created on the right.
Oh just to complete the day, I added a pre-sunset photo on the bottom with simple mask-and-eraser blending.
