Omg, that is so much fun!! I have always wanted to try spinning (just like any other craft out there). It sounds like a wonderful hobby and I love how your page turned out! Great photo of you!!!
 
I work at the historical society weaving on a loom that is about 180 years old, and my friend Brenda does the spinning from her home grown wool!

That's Awesome!! I'm impressed by someone who spins from their own flock of sheep. I buy my wool "ready to spin" from a local designer (Sheridan Flats). I've been to her farm, met the sheep and the llama, watched her dye some rovings. Our Fiber Arts group meets once-a-month, and we have an annual "dye day" in July. I've dyed yarn and rovings, but I have a lot to learn. It's wonderful, and I really enjoy it. I have a rigid heddle loom, and I make muffler scarves (worsted weight 100% merino wool yarn, usually from the Bad Sheep Yarn website). :)
