I took advantage of the Apothic Collection, on sale for a limited time, to create this layout about the Northern Lights that magically appeared in the skies over our new/old farmhouse and my daughter's restaurant. In keeping with my recent focus on simplicity (actually, mindlessness, if truth be told), the process for this layout was extremely straightforward. It involved positioning the Starry Fotoblendz on a blank canvas, then clipping in the main photo, then creating the word cluster. I grabbed two frames from templates in my aA stash and added photos to them. Then came the golden highlights--I recolored the hipster plume that came with the Fotoblendz to match the house (the color of which I had intensified with a blend mode), and then I added layers from the Transfer/Overlay section of the Artplay Palette, also coloring some of them golden.
