Oh, my goodness, what a beautiful and interesting photo -- and I DID find the bird! He's such a pretty one and I've never seen a bird that color, he sure does hide himself well. I really like the background you chose, it's perfect for that pic.
This is beautiful Anne-Marie, that photo caught my eye because of the flowers and the bonus of that beautiful bird. It's camouflaged perfectly in that plant or tree, I've never seen anything like that either.
@MariJ and @JeanneMN It might have been a Scaly-breasted Lorikeet. Remember I live in Australia and a lot of our birds are not found in the Northern Hemisphere.
