We were amazed that I was doing well so soon after the eye surgeries, when sources had indicated there probably would be complications. Well, it wasn't easy at first, and it looked like I would have to learn to take photos while wearing the mandatory UV glasses, but it was only getting better.

Great photo! I just went through a similar surgery with a friend who had a torn retina. She had to keep her face facing the floor for 10 days. It was quite an ordeal but she has regained her sight and I hope this happens for you.
I love how you put the instructions on the layout. I always find it interesting when I find prescriptions or medical treatments from 50 years ago. Makes one wonder what one will think 50 years from now when they see this page. Love the photo!
I did chuckle at the accidental selfie been. there done that got the T shirt. I have more odd selfies than I can even name. the story of perseverance, though, is what really strikes me to go through all of these things and come out on the other end as well as you are. you are phenomenal. I love all the directions on the layout. Using the railroad signal sign was a brilliant idea, seeing as how this has been a long, long journey for you. I'm so glad it's looking that there is a beautiful rainbow at the end of this journey.
