If I look at the world around me, the glaring division, strife, threats, concerns of the future, and darkness can overwhelm. But I must focus on the power of my God, His justice, joy, and constancy. The old hymn "Turn Your Eyes on Jesus" comes to ming. When that is my focus, I can pray about my concerns and then go in peace.

Thanks, Tracy. These things weigh heavy on my heart, and I have to remind myself that even as a "watchman on the wall" it isn't my load to carry. Mine is to speak truth, pray, and trust. One. Day. at .a. Time.

You never cease to amaze me, Amanda. I LOVE the way your artistic mind thinks. This is so awesome - I love the eyes and the camera Lense, but love the background - it reminds me of an online think tank.
