Among some of my genealogy friends learning to say NO is a frequent topic of discussion. We have so much we want to do, but have acquired so many other commitments along the way and tend to get new ones too. We need stepping back as well as saying no.

What a fantastic page that resonates with so many of us! There always seems to be something new that needs tended to and we tend to stretch ourselves very thin at times! This would be a beautiful poster to print and hang up as a reminder!

I keep telling my friends that they need to learn that 2-letter word: NO and use it more often. Helping others is a good thing but not at the expense of your health and/or strength. Fabulous LO... and it would make a great poster.

This is a great piece of art jounaling. I agree with what you have shared on this - it is not easy to say NO at times.

Jean, I totally understand. No is such a hard word, but it's gotta be done sometimes! We and our mental health need to be able to say NO and not feel guilty.
