September AJ Challenge Week 3 {FOCUS}

Created for the AJ Challenge, Week 3 FOCUS:

I've been "struggling" again this past week. I'm trying to FOCUS on moving forward, but it's like one step forward, two steps back. I guess, to sum it up, my page is about my stuggle to stay focused. I'm focusing on getting focused. I've reworked this page several times. My first attempt was just "too focused" and I don't really feel that way, yet. So, back to the drawing board. After many start overs, this is what I created. I added some of my own journaling.

Yes, I did. I've gotten a lot of strength through my "Grief Journaling", as I've called it. Thanks for your kind words.

Oh, Cheryl! I know this page was so hard for you to make but you did such a fantastic job on it! The love that you both shared is so evident on your page and the struggle that it took for you to make it. Sharing pages is not always easy because you are putting your work out there and don't always know how it will be received. Cheryl this is truly beautiful, and transparent. I love what I see in you- being open with yourself, and embracing the uncertainty. Truly, NONE of us have certainty. We have moment to moment if we really think about it. And each moment matters, shapes us. Seems like you are at a part in the journey where you don't think you've made a lot of progress, but soon you will look back and be amazed at the view. I admire you.

I still want to call him and tell him things and its been 13 years. I still get mad that he missed events. But one day, who knows when, you will realize you have learned how to do life and it wont hurt as much.:hug2:

Tracy, meee toooooo! I "talk" to Dad nearly every day. I still can't believe he is "gone". He is but he isn't, so... Many things of his life I learned just before his passing that I wish I'd known and we could have talked more. (He was either chatty or silent) I wish...

Your pages always make me cry. I just cannot imagine, I think I would just be a puddle on the floor, unable to move, think or do. YOU on the other hand have taken control, still in pain, you move on. You are a powerful influence, keep going!!
