Inspiration – It was easy I had just taken some pictures of sunflowers and the classic collection is Ochre.
Start – New>File 12x12 300.
Paper – Solid paper 4 was placed over the background layer.
Photos – I placed my photo on the page. I then would add a layer and paint in black over a petal creating a mask and attach a paper or a transfer to it. I repeated this for several of the petals. I used all the artsy papers, two solids, and all the artsy transfers. Different Blend modes are used on the petal masks. I thought it gave it a painterly look.
Transfer – Trans 7 was placed under the photo at the top.
Brush – Brush 8 was added at the top in a reddish color.
Title cluster. – I placed the petals, then the wood words “Summer” and “Smile”, I put the hearts under the Smile and the gold ribbon over which I entwined with the word smile.
I added a layer above the picture and Using the Marquee tool I created a rectangle of the top of the picture which I filled with Yellow. I duplicated the layer and moved it to the bottom of the photo.
I added drop shadows where necessary.
