It was raining early, so we waited until it stopped to leave for the refuge.We got there at 6am, and there was a sliver of soft sunrise. We didn't see many birds, although we could hear them. I finally got a photo of one of those flocks of blackbirds, and watched one that I think was scolding the heron.
