I am so envious! When I was stationed in England my friend, Susan, and I wanted to go to Russia and come home through Czechoslovakia, but an travel ban for embassy personnel was placed on the Soviet Union over the Olympics so we couldn't go. We wound up with an England/Wales road trip. It was about the only things we were permitted to do. I love your photos and am so glad they are the main thing!
