Cape Escape 024-025

This spread is about the halfway point of my 2024 family getaway book, so I can now say with certainty that my “batch first, finish second” strategy has worked well for this particular project. Getting to here has been less than a month's worth of work and the rest of the spreads are also now batched. As for this spread, it is a combo of templates (Scenic and FotoInspired), and it quickly became crowded with colorful images, so I created a cluster of photos, using a frame from another FotoInspired Spread, to work with the woodword and the multimedia embellishment. I chose that particular metal frame to pick up on the cell phone camera in the photo right next to it. Artsy brushstrokes of the same mint paint I'd been using for our Monomoy Island adventure ties the three spreads covering this section of the album together.
You are really on a roll. The pages are different, yet coherent in that their full of faces, expressions, activities, and nice color, along with great embellishments just to make the point.

The red and turquoise colors work so well together! Love the flow of the embellishment to the circle frame to the square metal frame traveling across the page, then pulling the eye upward to Elliot and ice cream! Excellent!

Thanks. I'm psyched that I will be ready to grab those 60% sales when they start rolling around in the Fall!
