Sometimes all you can do with old, poor quality photos is display them proudly for the memories they represent! So many of mine are like that but I scrap them anyways. Your banner across the top makes the whole page festive!
I look at that banner across the top and I know exactly where you're going! My philosophy is that you work with the photos you have...and you have worked yours very well here!
