Such a fabulous photo of Chuck... and like the beautiful colored wings. The text with the feelings you are experiencing is so touching. This is a very heart-touching LO. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Cheryl, yes. Grief stew. Chew the meat and spit out the fat--cherish the good and sit with the sad then let it go... I love that Chuck's photo and the wings are prominent.

Thank you, Kay and thanks for hosting. When I saw wings on the tic tac toe board, I knew right away what I was going to make for your challenge.

Definitely grief stew! You don't have time to get out of one cycle before another one flies at you. It's just on and on and on. I think about your mom at night now - I just don't like to go to bed. You said she doesn;t either. That's when it really starts.

Thank you so much, Tracy. Chuck was such a kind and loving man and I'm glad it shows in this picture. He was my rock.
Yes, his photo shows so much love. His smile I bet was infectious and made everyone smile. I can see Chuck being the rock of your life. He looks like that kind of man. One you could rely on for everything. :heartpumppink:

He really was that kind of man, Tracy. Everybody loved him and it was largely due to his demeanor. He never got upset or mad over anything. He was cut out a different kind of cloth, that's for sure. He could talk me down off a cliff, I swear. He was constant - I guess that's the best word to describe him. You could always count on him never changing. The outpouring of love I received after he passed away was just overwhelming. He had such an impact on so many people because he was so accepting and nonjudgemental. I found a diamond in him. :heartpumpred::heartpumpred::heartpumpred:
