Cape Escape 014-015

More sunset. It seems that we just couldn't stop taking pictures. I made this spread the same way as I've been working on others in this album—batch five spreads, then go back and artify five spreads. In this case I added an extraction, which I then “stickerized,” and also used a sticker title. Fotoglos from my stash and paint helped accentuate the light.

I love this and how much fun that trip was. I love the sticker you made from the extraction. What a fun addition. The elements you used to "artify" your page are perfect. Thanks for sharing your trip. Its fun to go along with you.

These are great pictures of people having a good time! The sunset peeking out behind the photos is beautiful and adds nice color. Your extraction is a fun addition to the page--just look at that windblown hair. I love how your process is working out. I am not super tech savvy, but adding the QR code is genius. As Tracy said, It's fun to go along with you @AK_Tracy.

What a great set of fun-loving photos. Love the single glass of wine photo. Great job with the fotoglows.

Confession: I was stalking people for crazy windblown hair pictures! It got to be a thing with me, as the wind never let up. Back at home it was the unprecedented heat dome though, so we were NOT complaining! The tech code was something I learned to do in the aA album class--so simple and it has offered such an enhancement to my albums, and the kids especially love to see the "action"! Thanks for your comments!

And making an album is a sure way to soften those "back from family vacation" blues! Thanks for your lovely comments!

Fabulous photos, wonderful spread! Jake's hair sticker is icing on the cake! Oh the perfect visual triangles - the starfish, the rose color! I really like the sound of your process - I get so hung upon artifying!

Yeah, that's a rabbit hole for me. Even though I am pretty steely about not going down it, sometimes I do fall in....
