The sculpture of this little girl in a tutu, with a gracefully held fan and in her mother's shoes appealed to me very much at an art fair I visited shortly: first the material (concrete?), then the precision of the craftsmanship, her posture, but above all the facial expression: the childlike naivety or abandonment, which at the same time radiates a great self-confidence, almost a certain overconfidence or arrogance.
