Grateful

1966, Ron on his way to Vietnam and home on leave. He joined the Navy when he knew his draft was imminent. He was assigned to the Seabees, due to his refrigeration/heat/air experience. It was probably one of the luckiest things that ever happened to him. And he has had a lot of good luck in his lifetime.

US Navy Seabees charm, patch, poster: internet clip art

Artsy Paper 4 was placed for the foundation. Artsy Transfer 4 psd file was placed above the paper directly over the same transfers on the paper to enhance the colors and textures. Photos were clipped to the Framed Mask (rotated, mask layer enhanced) and MultiMedia Frames. The bottle charm was replaced with the Seabee charm, with drop shadow added. The low-quality photo clipped to the MM frame was duplicated with High Pass Filter added on Overlay blend mode. Elements, patch, poster, WordART, transfers, etc. were added along with Sunshine Stitches, Urban Threadz and Button Threadz. Completed with journaling.

What a beautiful page. I love your photos. They are a wonderful treasure. Love that you let the photos speak for this layout and added a few enhancements but left a bit of white space. Great layout and thank you Ron for your service.
