This may seem a bit odd, but this is a birthday that was a gift from my late husband. He always encouraged me to go out with the family and friends and have fun - even in the last few months that he wasn't feeling well. This was my birthday two and a half months before he passed away. I felt so bad going out without him, but with his usual "unconditional love" he insisted I go out and have a wonderful time, which I did. We went to the local casino for dinner and had a memorable evening. I knew he would be home waiting for me after the evening ended.
