There were many wonderful birthdays, not all of them are documented. But while others would have been happy with a trip or jewelry, it was this wonderful construction site radio that fascinated me. Somewhere in the house, something is always being tiled or painted. A tiler had a "Makita" playing good rock music at work. That's probably where the desire to own one of those arose.
