The color palette for this months Color Play is really pretty and lends itself well to photos from nature. This photo is of a gigantic tree in a nearby park which I shot looking up into the canopy.
I changed the hue and saturation to make this a sepia toned photo, then changed the blending mode to Linear Burn. Then I added a blank layer below, and selecting a color from the collection, I selectively brushed greenery back in, choosing a couple of green colors from the collection to do so. Because of the blending mode of the layer above it the green color shows through into the photo.
