Journaling:
If you are born in Indianapolis, Indy Cars become
part of your normal exsistance. You can't help it,
or avoid it. Whether you want it or not, each and
every May it's everywhere - the news, the papers,
the internet, cars passing by with a flag or sticker,
the Indy 500 is a tradition and matter of pride.
I remember when I thought it was all very much
a bore. Then, the most amazing thing happend, I
went to the race and saw for myself the excitement.
I was as hooked as the Hoosier beside me! And
that is why last summer was so very special. We
didn't just see your grandma and grandpa, aunts
and uncles, but I got to take my 3 favorite
guys to see a part of my story. We
got to drive around the track, walk through
the pits and garages, and, we got to see
some of the best history of Indianapolis at
the
INDY 500
MUSEUM
