More of the photos I took on our recent trip up north.
Journaling read: The Lady Pepperrell House, Kittery Point, Maine, was built in 1760 by Lady Mary Pepperrell, widow of Sir William Pepperrell. The house is one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in New England. Pepperrell was the only colonial American to be honored with a baronetcy, awarded by King George II for his leadership of the 1745 expedition against the French Fortress Louisbourg on Cape Breton Island. The house was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1960, but remains in private ownership, subject to preservation restrictions.

What a very beautiful home! The history on it is very interesting, and neat that it's in private ownership. The clean lines and minimal embellishments really makes your photos shine. Very nice use of the sketch! Thank you for joining in on the challenge!

What a gorgeous home and I feel I should leave a prim & proper comment as etiquette of the times would dictate. This layout is positively gorgeous, thank goodness this beautiful treasure is being cared for, and especially cool that is still under private ocean.
