On Friday we took a quick spin at sunrise around Alamosa refuge before heading home. It was worth it the minute we saw a pair of eagles in a far tree. We hadn't seen any for months, and they assure us that the refuge is thriving. The stop made our trip too long, but we loved it.

This is a beautiful page. I love how you framed the close-up photo with the twig frame. The gold leaves and alpha emphasize the golden eagles.
