This might be a bit wordy, but I am passionate about education on CMT (not country music) I'm sorry I forgot to say in my layout, this is my sons foot. In 2020 he had both feet operated on.
I used Timeless Treasure.

Thank you. I am sorry I didn't say in the layout, but its my sons feet. He had surgery when he was 15/16 years old. I'm super happy you found it informative.
I had noticed that you had said that it affected mostly males but just didn't make the connection! I wish him the best of health.

Wow, I'd never heard of this before I met you Twin. I always tell myself when I'm about to complain, that it could be worse, and it is for so many, but especially heartbreaking when it is our children. I'm so thankful he's growing up with available medical treatments, and while I know life isn't fair, it could be more so when it comes to children.
That's why its my passion. Most people have never heard of it. Rare to find a doctor who knows what it is. I lovingly say this too, dont down play your pain just because "it could be worse". It can always be worse but that doesn't mean our pain/suffering/problems are any less then someone else. They're just different. :heartpumppink: yeah he got a S**** deal but he got the mom (and God) who will fight for him and that made the difference.

:heartpumppink:Yes, the X version means boys have one screwed up x so they get it worse. Women have 2 and we rarely have both x messed up. The x adds the lubricant to the myelin sheath that nerves travel down. That's why its worse for boys.

Visually this layout is so well done - the feet and radiograph as the center point draws you right in - the colors, the clocks - all of it. But the amazing thing here is the content which shows your passion, your knowledge and your mama bear strength in fighting for your kids. Have I told you lately that I love you? :heartpumplove:

Thank you Amy! I love you too!! I am glad the content was good. I was worried it was too much but there was no way to shorten it and still be impactful.

I remember you scrapping about this before, but it's so interesting to read all the information as before you I had no idea this condition existed, thank you! Your photos are wonderful and show the before and after so well. Kudos to your son for going through this and having all his hard work and pain pay off, it must have been scary for his parents, too. That's a long surgery, but it sure seems worth it!
Wonderful page Tracy and thanks for sharing. :beatingheart:

Thank you. The scary part is many doctors have no idea either. By the time we got to this point, it wasn't scary. It was a last resort to allow him to walk "normal" so my only fear was Los Angeles and traffic.

Glad to hear surgery was successful albeit very lengthy. Thank you for the information. I had never heard of this.

Oh, Tracy! Your precious son has gone through so much and so has your mama heart. It is so much easier to go through pain or suffering than to see our children have to go through it. I am so glad that the surgery went well and his foot is now functional!
