This one just screamed for me to keep it simple and yet show my renewal in Christ. I used the song lyrics Awaken Me from Casting Crowns, Melody Flashback for the background paper, Free Wheelin' paper with Blender 4 to create the sun shining down on me. My own photo faded out.
Tracy the symbolism of this is wonderful. I love the faded out image of yourself as a measure of your own introspection. The yellows and the blending to emulate not only the the Lords Glory but as awakening - literally every morning and also figuratively as the daily choice to listen and follow. So beautifully portrayed. You're nailing the AJ!!

Awwww thank you Amy. Once I realized I wanted to use the song, it just hit. This AJ just flew out of my mind and I am so glad His glory shows like I wanted.

Art Journaling can be whatever you feel while you're creating your page. This is so moving and I'm beyond thrilled that you're doing these challenges!! I echo everything that's already been said.
