Process
Page 4 of the Flower FotoBlendz Template Album was opened up. A solid paper from APP Moorlands was used for the foundation of the page. The smaller photos were clipped to the different frame masks, along with several ArtsyKardz Vagary. One photo was duplicated, extracted with a custom shadow added. The large photo of the sunflower was clipped to the layers of the ArtsyLayered Template 297. Some of the layers were turned off or the blending mode changed to hard light. The layers were merged, duplicated with the blending mode changed to hard light The photo was duplicated again and clipped to the large fotoblendz mask. The page was completed by adding word art and dimensional embellishments.
Perfect! This fotoblendz is perfect for the sunflower, with the dots, and the addition of the beads is masterful! Great alternative use of the frames (I keep meaning to try that, but always have too many photos and too little self-control). Love the extracted sunflower too!
This is a masterpiece. That beautiful sunflower draws you in, but the smaller pictures and elements are such nice accompaniments. And they are placed so well. I love the quote.
Love the progression from closed to open on the flowers--it's really eye-popping. Your trio of insect critters is just so perfect too. Some day I will go all Zen and be able to have texture and color in frames instead of more, more, more photos! You inspire me!
