April2024_Lynn Grieveson_FeatProd_Just Chilling

Mellow is one of my fave kits by Lynn. It is the featured product for her April challenge.

This little lizard and I have seen each other for pretty much 28 days straight lol. I see him in the same place on my walk. He is pretty bold, as he doesn't move when I get close. I'm quite fond of him and I love his little feet, all splayed out!

This is beautiful. I really like the faded stripe background. little hints of blue. The photo is amazing. I love that you cropped it to be just cement behind the lizard. Great layout.

How cool is that! I love that hint of a stripe in your background, so much cool white space! Love!

Thank you @AK_Tracy @anke55 the background is x2 papers blended together. It's one of my fave techniques. In PS have x2 papers, and then in the layer tray, select the top one and change from normal to overlay, you never can tell what you might get!

Oooo, I agree, gorgeous job on that background, and love your layers of elements! That lizard is adorable...I can't tell what type it is, but it sure is sweet that he lets you be around him! He kind of reminds me of the Eastern Fence Lizards we have here in Northern Alabama :) Congratulations! Your layout will be featured in tonight's Monday Oscraps newsletter :beatingheart:

I love the bg! And I love little lizards, too! Great page! Congrats on being featured in the newsletter!

@joyfulheartdesigns thank you so much for the feature. I am looking those Lizards up, I think I have lots of those! @vickyday thank you, I like lizards!
I think it is actually a brown iguana because of the toes and long tail...we, well, my husband thought it would be fun to purchase 2 baby green iguanas for the kids because they were just SO cute at a reptile show, about six years ago...it ended up being a nightmare...LOL The male one who was named War Machine was constantly slapping us with his tail and trying to bite, and the femail named Green Bean was more timid and not doing as well, so I found some experts to take them off of our hands for free. They were gorgeous, but too much work and money spent for their huge cage and misters... NO impulse buys at a reptile show again for me, unless it a ball python or corn snake for me :lovey3:

Jenn! I am DYING here. Sorry, but the fact that the Male one slapped you with its tail!

LOL. This is hilarious. He is chilling. he might be worried about the snake you have welcomed to the 'hood though. Love your composition!!! Use of the paints is perfect.
