Hogwarts Japan

I used *ArtPlay Melancholy Collection* full collection on sale for a limited time.
I feel like I'm traveling while I work on a book of my daughter's trip to Japan.

Began with a Scenic Landscape template on the left & a FotoInspired template on the right. Clipped photos to masks. Added solid background paper to both pages. Added & blended transfers from artplay palette & transfer layers from the artsy template. Added embellishments from artplay palette & multimedia collection. Hogwarts crest was created by scanning a napkin & extracting the crest. Added it & solid paper to a framed mask with blending.

Oh my goodness is there really a Hogwarts Japan? I had no idea! I always like an arrangement of large photo balanced by multiple supporting photos. Especially like the postage-like frames

WOW! I didn't know that either. Love the variety of photos and frames. The blue skies give a cohesive balance across the pages.

Hogwarts/Harry Potter is part of Universal Studios Japan, Osaka Japan It looks like a magical place. So much detail in everything.

This is at Universal Studios in Osaka and is very much like Universal Studios in California and Florida.

I would have expected to find "the walking castle" (from the animé film Hauru no Ugoku Shiro) or something similar there.
Japanese animé films are cult, but so is Harry Potter, of course.
