Oh, Jean...I am so sorry that you haven't been able to do the birding that you guys are used to doing!! I don't actively leave my house to go birding, I just look out my windows, or sit outside. I am lucky that we have so many birds out here in Alabama...it is one of the few positives about living here, instead of my home state of Texas. I always enjoy hearing a red shouldered hawk calling while I am filling bird feeders...as long as they leave the birds I love alone, and my cats! lol And I am always looking for either a smaller hawk, a kestrel, or a peregrine falcon on certain power lines when driving to and from the store! And I think that watcing other people birding is great! There is a guy named Matt on TikTok that goes live late at night, when I am trying to fall asleep, who is a wildlife rescuer and I love seeing the raccoons, deer, opossums, etc....I DO get to see several of those in real life, sometimes, but it is fun to see how he interacts with the sweet animals that he has rescued, vaccinated, and set back out into the wild...and they still come to visit him
