Canada's first UNESCO site. Vikings landed here and set up an establishment between 900 and 1000 AD. There homes were all mounds which we got to walk into...but that's another page!

YAAAAY Canada!!

I did a DNA test several years ago and it shows that I have Scandinavian ancestry. I hope this means that I also have Viking ancestry.

I have not been to L'anse aux Meadows, but it is on my bucket list!!
