Project 2023 P29 - Simple Things

Page 4 of the template was placed on the right side of the double layout, photos clipped to the frame masks and fotoblendz, and artsy paper clipped to one mask. Some frames were removed or transformed. Embrace Life Pattern Paper 1 was placed for the foundation. Stains, papers, etc. were recolored. The foliage brush was replaced with the bicycle brush. Embellished with elements, stains, splatters, word art and journaling. The Prismatic 3 Artsy Transfer was clipped to the kite, blend mode Multiply and threadz added.

A picnic at a Dallas park. Dad thought it was funny to take pictures of the boys ‘watering the trees.’ And Scott stood like a statue for hours, it seemed, flying a kite. This is another favorite photo of Dad’s, a large, a framed copy always hung on their bedroom wall. Along with a fire fascination, Scott was similarly awestruck with planes and jets and still always looks to the sky when he hears one. More wonderful photos! Those were simpler times, weren't they? Wonderful journaling and page (love the "watering the trees" comment!) ;)

I wasn't sure about posting that pic about watering the trees. I didn't know if it would be offensive or considered child abuse. LOL!
