Inspiration – The idea of telling a story reminded me of my friend Betsy on 365Project.org pictures of her cat Raspberry. She had given me permission to download some of them to use in my scrapbooking. I new there was a least on witch cat amongst them. And then I thought of the series of pictures I was lucky to capture of a cat chasing a mouse in a church garden. Spoiler alert the chipmunk got away in real life and in the story.
Start – New>File 12x12 300.
Paper – I placed Solid paper 3 from APP Loved above the background layer. Next I added Pattern paper 7 from APP Uncanny above the first paper and applied an Color Burn Blend mode.
Frame- Place Fotowallets 1.2 on the page.
Photos – I put the witch cat picture to the right of the frames and carefully blended in the picture to the page. I added three pictures of the cat and chipmunk to the three masks of the frame using Layer>Create Clipping mask.
Elements – Used Multimedia Uncanny 4, the black crow and a fotoglow behind the two groups.
Journaling – I made up a story about a prince to fit the pictures.
Title – Used the alpha “Frosty winter” but used Ctrl U to change the colors after I merged them together and rasterized them. Typed in “the” which I also rasterized and changed color using Ctrl U.
Finally added Drop Shadows where necessary.

A whole story is even better! Love that you used actual photos for your story which I would think makes it personally meaningful. Love the witches hat on that precious kitty. Thanks for taking the challenge..
