Autumn Rose

Text Reads: For several years, I have had roses in November. It's our mild climate. I will have many roses along with the fallen leaves this year. Font: Balava Script

Background Construction: I started with my rose photo covering the canvas. The background of the photo was already a bit bokeh, but I added two bokeh overlays and a vignette to complete the background coloring (Cinematic Silver Bokeh Photo Overlays Image 13, Wonderland Magic Bokeh Photo Overlays Image 29 and Vignette Photo Overlays 5 from Cinematic-Photo-Overlays-Bundle-giveawayoftheday). I added a bunch of Artsy Transfers (Autumn Rust & Fallen Blush), TapedTextures No 4, brushes, and overlays to fill in.
The elements: I placed WoodShop Frames No 1 #6 behind the extracted rose, using blend mode Color Burn at 50%. Behind that I added ArtPlay Autumn Rust Leaves. At the top I placed UrbanStitchez Leaves No 2 #3. Then the ArtPlay Autumn Rust Charm connecting the leaves to the frame and the rose. At the bottom of the rose I placed the ArtPlay Palette Fallen Blush branch and button.
Title: Autumn WordART No 7 #8 “Happiness” with Autumn WordArt Mix No 2 Beaded Word “BE” and Epoch WordART Mix No 1 SQLifeDifferent.
Love how the darker background enhances the beauty of the rose. Great brush work and framing!

I was drawn to this one right away...such a gorgeous flower, and I love how it pops off of the dark background! Congratulations, your layout will be featured in tonight's Thursday Oscraps newsletter :beatingheart:
