This started out as one of the fastest pages I've made in a while, then I worked on it for 3 days. I think it's balanced, and I think it has some good stories (extra credit for anyone who can identify the weird object in the upper right!).
The simple part was pages 5 & 8 from FotoInspired 3D, size adjusted. I had to leave out a couple of photos to make room for journaling, instead clipping neutral papers to masks or parts of masks.
Feuillemort and Urbicolous made great neutral background. Not the best example of visual triangles, but in the end, the most important thing was capturing the kinds of things I see and like and think about.
I think you did a great job of visual triangles. I especially love the balance of palm trees and the great title!

Thank you! I just kept wondering if the nice orange VT is disrupted by the dark orange hibiscus, but I'm done :)

A bit creepy, huh? Curiosity is killing me. I'll guess a petrified seaweed type plant wrapped around a rock. Not sure if that's even possible. Love the 'daisy-palm' and LOL at your first line!

Love the vibrant orange! Sunsets and palm trees ... wish I was there on this cold rainy day! Great documentation.

I love all these pictures with the sun they contain! all this orange color warms me body and mind for us who have entered autumn

Yup, it's Oct when one really appreciates So Cal weather. Oz told me he wanted to collect some leaves - I told him I would bring him back some leaves from Portland ( where it is also chilly and rainy) when we go in November :)

Well, no other guesses - it's a shark egg. When the young lady at the aquarium told me, I had to have her repeat it 3 times - what? How can that be a shark egg?? I carried it most of the way home then thought, nope, take a photo then chuck it back in the ocean o_O
