I had a fantastic road rally weekend; this is just the first of a couple of pages I will post. Unfortunately, I can only post a small number of the cars we saw as it was requested not to use photos on social media of the private car collections. There were many of the most beautiful vehicles I ever saw. So, I have limited myself to my images of already very publicized cars.
Text Reads: September 8, 2023: We had the opportunity to view two private car collections in Bellevue, WA. As part of the Cascade Classic Car Rally & Tour, our visit included Greg Whitten's collection of unique race cars and Bruce Wanta's collection of vehicles and memorabilia.
Greg Whitten, a vintage car enthusiast, has a famous car collection that contains various Ferraris including his first, a Ferrari F40, and two LaFerrari, of which one is the unique blue electrics. His Ferrari 250 GTO sold for $48.8 million at a public auction August 2018. The most amazing story is of the 1932 Romulus, once owned by Prince Birabongse Bhanubandh of Siam.

Construction: Starting with the ArtsyLayered Template No 207, I clipped my photos to two of the frames. I removed the top frame and placed a sign (extracted from a photo). Over the top I placed my photo extraction of the “Romulus”. I also clipped the extraction to one of the tem[plate’s paint layers to show more of the under car shadows. I then clipped the “Bruce’s Garage” neon sign photo to two of the template paint layers.
