This is a carbon copy (remember those?) sent to my grandmother of a letter my grandfather wrote to my dad. His handwriting on the left side is to her. If not for this copy, this letter would have been lost. Here is what he wrote to her:
Hi Ruthie – How are you doin’? Enclosing copy of clipping I mailed to Lewie. Don’t you think it looks like him? He was at the same place and had his picture took, too, he said. Has Star-Telegram received it yet. See you late Friday afternoon or early evening. Will fly in on early flight unless something comes up to change my plans. Love to all from your travelin’ husband! Lewis

I started with P13 template, filled the fotoblendz with color to match the foundation paper placed below the template layers. Added a copy of the letter on Darken blend mode. Embellished with the element, artsy stains and paints. Completed with the text box.
