Collect Adventures

During our visit the girls were fascinated by the “girls” room on the third floor. It was complete with cornhusk dolls and a tea set.
James Vann had the brick home built from the red clay of his plantation. At his death, Chief Joseph Vann (James Vann’s favorite son) inherited the plantation. Rich Joe is credited for remodeling the home into the Federal Style.
The restoration of the house revealed the original colors of paint. They are interpreted to have symbolic meaning: yellow for corn
and wheat, blue for the sky, red for the clay/earth, and green for grass and trees.
Multiple reconstructions reveal life in the early 1800s including this kitchen which features a brick oven and an operational rocker beater loom. The girls were fascinated by the “Three Sisters’ Garden” and the chickens.

Great work! This APP works brilliantly with your nice photos! And the story is very interesting! I love the blended butterfly.

Great use of the template. I like the rustic brown-red coloring you have in the stamp and photos.
