Process
Artsy paper from APP Achieve was used as the foundation for the page. Using the polygonal lasso tool the large black mat was outline on a new layer and filled with black, creating a fotoblendz mask. The image was scanned from the year book and clipped to the mask, duplicated with the blending mode changed to screen (reduced opacity). The certificate was scanned, changed to black and white with the contrast increased. A multiply blending mode was applied. The ribbon was scanned and a custom shadow was added. The smaller track photo was clipped to a linear fotoBlendz mask. A layer mask was added and using a soft black brush to blend the image into the background. The page was completed by adding stars, journaling and a paper texture.
