Another one for the book - my husband's Grandfather.
What did I do? shuffled around transfers on top of a plain foundation paper, extracted the figure, used some artsy stains on top to distress a bit. Photograph of the young Horace id color burn mode and the one of him holding my husband as a baby is bottom layer hard light and top layer color burn. Also added paper textures.

You make it sound so easy, just shuffling transfers. And yet, perfection every time! At first glance, I thought this was King Charles. But I do need to get my eyes checked. Just recently, I've been having trouble with the 'computer screen distance', guess that means trifocals are in my future. UGH!
